Last Friday, I arrived at the library with a list of books for a group project. I had checked the titles but not their locations. After searching the wrong floor for twenty minutes, I asked a librarian for help. She showed me how the shelf numbers worked. I found the first book in minutes and then used the same method for the others. The visit taught me that asking a precise question can save more time than continuing a confused search.
The reading room is narrow but carefully arranged. Low shelves run along one wall, leaving a clear path to the windows. Each desk has a small lamp, so students can read without lighting the whole room brightly. Near the entrance, a notice explains where group discussion is allowed. These details make the room feel orderly rather than crowded.
空间线索along one wall、to the windows、near the entrance帮助读者形成位置关系。
To reserve a room, first open the library's booking page and select a date. Next, choose an available time and enter your student number. Check the details before confirming the reservation. If your plans change, use the cancellation link in the confirmation message. Cancelling an unused booking allows another student to use the space.
first/next/before/if对应先后与条件。
题目“Describe a place where you study well.”若全文写“Last Monday I went there, then I met a friend…”

2
将I go to the office yesterday and I ask for help改为正确过去叙事。
3
将The room is very good扩成两句具体描写,说明至少一个可观察特征及其用途。
4
Open the page beside the room number and click it to cancel the booking.

1
时间:Last Friday/After searching;空间:along one wall/Near the entrance;步骤:first/Next/before confirming。
2
I went to the office yesterday and asked for help.
3
示例:The room has wide desks and adjustable lamps. Students can spread out their notes and direct the light onto the page they are reading.
4
Open the booking page, find your reservation and click the Cancel button beside it. it明确回指reservation;不要让click it指向页面或房间号。
5
Last week, I tried to memorise a long list of words by reading it repeatedly. The next morning, I could recall very few of them. I then grouped the words by topic and wrote a short sentence with each one. When I tested myself again, I could explain more words without looking at the list. The change reminded me to check what I can use, not merely what looks familiar.
6
First, read the passage and identify its central point. Next, note two important supporting ideas without copying complete sentences. Put the original aside and write one sentence for each idea in your own words. Finally, compare your summary with the passage. Check that you have kept any important limits and that you have not added a claim the author did not make.
7
The narrative develops in chronological order and uses a specific detail to show the turning point. develops与uses平行;turning point不是一般地点。
8
Clear sequence markers and explicit button names can improve the clarity of procedure steps.
